CEM
Background: CEM (Capital Energético Mexicano) is a Mexican company that develops, invests and operates energy projects (thermal, cogeneration, hydrocarbons and renewables). They started operations in 2013 with a joint venture between Grupo Enesa and Invenergy LLC as a result of the energy reform in Mexico. In 2017, Grupo Enesa and Grupo Bursatil Mexicano created CEM. The company quickly began to grow, so they needed more space to improve the workflow.
Challenge: To remodel the space making the fewest structural changes possible, generating both independent and collaborative workspaces. CEM wanted a modern, fresh environment that would encourage teamwork while still allowing for individual space. It was important to maintain an environment that would facilitate the operation of the company, without exceeding the budget allocated.
Our concept: To create a modern environment using simple lines, sober but cheerful colors, and comfortable furniture. To promote a culture of teamwork by refreshing old areas, with a new look, and to create new areas to work within.
Services: Design, architecture, furniture manufacturing, project management and coordination.
