Met Museum Names a Mexican Architect to Lead a New Major Project

The Metropolitan Museum of Art picked Mexican architect Frida Escobedo for $500m revamp of the Modern and contemporary art wing. Escobedo will be the first woman to design a wing at the museum, and she was chosen over candidates including David Chipperfield, Ensamble Studio and other important firms. Read more about it here.
