Jacaranda flowers paint Mexico City purple in the spring

Before summer begins, there are some places where you can still enjoy these flowers. This species arrived in Mexico in 1932 and managed to adapt. The Japanese gardener Tatsurgoro Matsumoto brought it from Brazil, commissioned by President Pascual Ortiz Rubio, as an initiative to add color to spring. Read more here.
